Poverty In Metro Atlanta

About Poverty In Metro Atlanta

Between 7,000 and 10,000 people are homeless in Metro Atlanta, according to Atlanta Mission and Action Ministries. This is a large number, of people on any given day. According to Action Ministries, “Atlanta is the poorest city in the US for children.” Although not all is bad news, according to The Atlanta Journal, since 2012 less than tens of thousands of people are homeless in Metro Atlanta. Compare that to how many are homeless today  and that is a big drop, but the issue is still there.
