About The United Nations
The United Nations or The UN, was founded in 1945, after World War II. The UN is an international organization, there are currently 193 member states in the UN. The UN has many goals to make the world a better place. Some of the things they do is maintain international peace and security between countries, the promote sustainable development, protect human right and many other things.
The main parts of The UN consist of the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the UN Secretariat. All of these sections of The UN were created when The UN was founded in 1945.
